Week 4/Mailing 4

This week is the week I started getting those weird partial images. I am fairly certain there will be six of these in all. The image it makes is becoming more and more clear and is something I should have anticipated given what I've learned so far.

So, let's talk about that spell book first. Discovering that Jeremiah McClinton, the owner of Veilwood Sanitorium, was also the owner of the book was a bit of a shock. He calls himself The Eye for some reason. I discovered all of this, of course, by studying that spell book page, using the symbol from Patient 164's room, and pulling the letters in the correct order.

Then, I took the scrap of paper I found inside the spell book and examined it. The word fragments at the bottom of the first page of the spell book are numbered 1 through 74. By pulling only the fragments mentioned on the scrap of paper, I obtained a chilling message that reads: and the worst were cast out...like stars they fell...one has been here for eons...he is the whisperer in ward c also known as malachor

Is it possible that this is the thing that attacked me?

Finally, I conducted a spirit box session with the Mortician, and this time was more illuminating. It required me to use The Dead Pool list of names I obtained during week 2 and manipulate the list based on the Mortician's instructions until I was left with a series of dots and dashes. It's clever how he used Morse code to provide his message.

The message I obtained from this reads as follows: If You Want Sherry, Kate, Richard, look in Chapel.

Obviously, what I found there still chills me to the bone. This is a very dangerous business.

But, I've saved the most compelling piece of evidence I found for last. Let's talk about the weird little story on the back of Nancy's 4th note. I knew there had to be more to it than it seemed at first glance. When I used the black light on the story, certain words were emphasized and a new message about Tick Tock was obtained: the killer knew all the victims

The message itself is useful, but what I'm trying to understand is how that message was created in the first place.

This business just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
